The product itself is made of lovely silicone and very nice to handle. The double sided head is covered in bristles that are very gentle on the skin and do not irritate at all when passed over. Once charged, it provides gentle massaging exfoliation. Even after the first use, my skin was looking healthier as it removed stubborn dry skin!

I absolutely love this little machine. I had never heard of it before but thought it would be worth a try as I am a performer and wear a lot of makeup for work so find keeping my skin clean and my pores clear quite a task and do suffer with breakouts if I don’t keep on to of it. I have tested this product by removing makeup with pads which takes several pads! And then using this product first and then a single pad afterwards and the difference in effectiveness is huge. After using this tool, I do not get any makeup or dirt on the single pad at all. The vibration and heat really work to clean your skin deeply and lift the makeup and dirt from your pores. It has made my face more glowing and it feels lovely. Definitely would recommend! I use oval pads though which are a bit awkward to put in so I would suggest a round cotton pad.

I was sold when I read the words "radiofrequency anti-ageing micro-currents", oh and also "light therapy". Who wouldn't be intrigued to try out something like this for their skin?! I don't really understand the techy science bits but it sounds impressive so was very excited to try it out. The device itself is a good size, fitting perfectly in the palm of my hand. For anything like this I made sure to read the instructions carefully before using. They were very clear & also had some photo's alongside the instructions which isn't very necessary but still helpful. My first, very eagerly awaited, testing of the device was met with a little frustration. The device has a thermo infusion plate that you can place a cleansing pad onto and clamp down with a magnetic ring - the thermo frequency will amplify your cleansing regime. However I have recently started using washable cotton pads for makeup/toner and the magnetic ring would not fit around these. It seems it's made specifically for disposable cotton pads which is really disappointing. The pads I use are not too thick at all so I was really surprised to find out that it wouldn't clamp in place. So I wasn't able to proceed with that part. Next try was cleansing with the bristles by wetting my face and applying my cleanser over the bristles - you can choose the strength of vibration and then just work over your face in circular motions. After this my skin felt so clean and awake!! I definitely feel it gives a really deep clean which you are unable to achieve yourself. The next step - this is a full on facial routine using this device which I wouldn't do every day but it's so lovely to take time out a couple of time a week for some at home self care - so next step was to apply my serum and using the thermo plate you just glide it over your skin to about 2minutes for the serums/creams etc to fully absorb into your skin. My husband thinks these type of things are gimicky but I truly think this is making my clear brighter and definitely a deeper clean. It will take longer than a few weeks to see any difference in regards to fine lines etc but for now I am happy with the results. My skin is happy and fresh so what's not to love! My only gripe is the cotton pad issue so it's losing a star on the back of that!

Finally beginning To feel comfortable In my own skin thaks to @chokbeauty I have been using these Korean inspired beauty products since the summer now and they've made such a difference. As well as being great for cleanising, using the silicon buffer, this does other stuff too! There's a metal plate that you can use to help your moisturiser or serum sink in, it vibrates and it does help! You can use the heat function too if you like, it's more of a warming and is amazing used over a sheet mask to help the product really absorb. This area has a ring that can be removed, and you pop a cotton wool round on it then replace the ring, holding it in place. Use this with a cleanser, it removes make up so well with the vibrations! If you are thinking of getting a cleansing brush, I'd reccommend spending a bit more to get these extra functions.

This is a great little beauty gadget. It cleanses really well and I love the led light to help reduce acne. My skin feels super clean after. This would make a nice Christmas present.

Most nights, I just use micellar water on a reusable, washable pad and just wipe over it. With this, I can fasten my usual pad to this machine and step up the cleansing. It shows a red light to show it's working and it gives little pulses that kind of tap the skin. I feel like I'm doing more to ensure my skin is properly clean at night with this. I've been using an electronic silicone thing with soft bristles in the shower on my face every morning for a while now and I do think that my face is cleaner for that and this seems just the same to me. The bristles are very soft but they feel as if they are gently getting into my pores and pulling out the dirt of ages. My face feels cleaner and any blackheads are only visible in my 7x magnifying mirror now. You can also use these soft bristles to massage your face cream into your skin more deeply, making it more effective. The back of the Chok is ridged for a massage and lifting effect, which feels as good as my electric jade roller. I love this little thing, It seems like a considered purchase but it is taking the place of a few other beauty items and performing as well if not better job than them, very happy to have been given the opportunity to try it.

I have been using this tool nightly for a few weeks now, and have noticed a real difference in my skin quality - my blackheads appear to have reduced, and overall I have much less puffiness and fluid retention around my eyes and jaw. I double cleanse, and during the first cleanse (either with oil or balm) I massage my skin with my fingers first, and then use the non bristle end to gently provide a second massage. Then I use the bristle end with my second cleanse (normally a foaming cleanser) before rinsing with water. Finally, I use the ionic/non bristle side to help massage a night cream/sleeping pack. In just a few days with this routine, I found my skin seemed much clearer. It’s rechargeable, which is a great bonus and easier than batteries. I would definitely recommend this tool - I’m not sure how it works, but can confirm that it definitely does!
